Childhood is a treasured time. Here at Precious Days Learning Academy, Inc. (PDLA), we believe it is our responsibility to protect a child's health, safety and well-being, provide environments and experiences that capture the joys of childhood and nurture each child’s individual development, paving the way for success in school and life.
PDLA is a privately held facility with pending Missouri Accreditation, run by its owner, Francene Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell serves as the Director and has over 10 years of extensive experience in the childcare industry. She is supported in daily operations by an industry consultant, an assistant director and a VP of educational operations, all with extensive experience in the childcare industry.
Our teachers learn from the children every day. They bring life and warmth to our spaces. They fill our rooms with laughter, joy and inspiration. Their ideas are fresh and inspired daily. We reciprocally love teaching the children, introducing them to new fun, new ideas, and new experiences. The learning environment is said to be the third teacher, and we strive to provide the children with an environment that stimulates and encourages them to thrive and grow. The classrooms are arranged to appropriately allow children to develop skills at their individual pace. Children are the breath of life in our future and at Precious Days Learning Academy, Inc., we love to watch them grow into that future.

My name is Tyresha Johnson and I’ve been in business for over 15 years. During this time I have obtained my CDA. My love for children extends further than just the love that I have for the 2 of my own that attend the center. It is my belief that children are our future and it is our responsibility to treat them with as much kindness and care as possible. I feel that they will one day be responsible for taking the torch and caring for us... I pray the love we have shown them is returned to us when the time is right.
